Welcome to the life and Times of
SFC Michael G. Stahl, USASF (Ret.)
In September of 1966, I was not yet 22 years old. I had been sky diving only since 1964. And I was a high school drop out. Reading over this article, I'm even impressed with me.

These are the first signs that I was destined to be a facilitator of learn-ing. At the time I wrote this article, I was the president of the Ft. Ord Sport parachute Club, the club rigger, the club safety officer and the club train-ing officer.

I was attending Arabic language training at the Presidio of Monte-rey, CA, and upon graduation from language school would go to Ft. Bragg, NC, to earn the coveted Green Beret.
